Nick Ayres
Global Director of Social Marketing / IHG Hotels & Resorts

Nick Ayres has spent the last 20 years leading social marketing strategy and execution for brands including The Home Depot, Georgia-Pacific and Ashton Woods Homes. He is currently the Global Director of Social Marketing for IHG Hotels & Resorts. In this role, Nick oversees the global social organic content efforts for IHG’s portfolio of stay brands, as well as their larger social community engagement efforts. Nick is also an adjust professor at the University of North Georgia, where he teaches a social marketing and content strategy class.

Nick holds an MBA from Georgia Tech and a BS from Emporia State University. When he’s not on his phone scrolling for the next big social trend, you’ll probably catch him watching his beloved Kansas Jayhawks, exercising, thrifting or looking for some new vinyl.

Nick, his wife of 23 years, their three kids and their golden doodle live in the Atlanta suburbs.
