Former ANA scholar, student-athlete, and HBCU Queen - Brécha Byrd is a country girl from Surry County, VA who sees no limits. She graduated from Saint Augustine’s University as a top Business scholar in May 2023. Brécha maximized every opportunity and built effective relationships. In April 2024, Brécha graduated from the Verizon Adfellows Program, a 9-month rotational program in New York City for recent grads who are interested in pursuing careers in marketing and advertising. Today, Brécha Byrd is an Associate, Business Leadership at Momentum Worldwide, a global advertising agency that specializes in creating experiences to connect brands with consumers in meaningful ways. She works with American Express in areas of Dining, Small Business Saturday, and Colleague Experience Group. Brécha was recently featured in her company newsletter for Black History Month. She is also a motivational speaker and author of Self Love…LOVESELF, a book that is dedicated to anyone on the journey of self-love and wellness. Brécha is grateful to the ANA for supporting her throughout her college and career journey. She loves connecting with others, sharing experiences, and making a positive impact in the world.
