Isabella Echeverri serves as a sideline reporter for Telemundo Deportes, bringing her unique perspective as a former Colombian National Team player and Olympian. She was part of the network's Emmy Award-winning coverage of the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023TM.
Echeverri joined Telemundo Deportes after an accomplished career as a professional footballer, representing Colombia in major international tournaments, including the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™ and the Olympic Games Rio 2016™. Her international resume also includes a Gold Medal at the 2019 Pan American Games in Peru, two Copa America Femenina finals appearances (2014, 2018), and multiple medals in South American and Central American competitions.
At the club level, Echeverri played across five countries, competing in the UEFA Women's Champions League with Elpides Karditsas (Greece), serving as captain for Sevilla FC in Spain's top division, and closing her career with Rayadas de Monterrey in Mexico's Liga MX Femenil. She also played collegiate soccer at the University of Toledo, earning multiple All-MAC honors and leading her team to a conference championship.
Beyond the pitch, Echeverri is deeply committed to social impact through football. She is a co-founder of the Somos4Futbol Foundation and a member of the executive committee of Common Goal, a global movement that uses soccer as a tool for social change. She also served as a Union and Players Relations Officer at FIFPRO, advocating for women footballers worldwide.
Echeverri holds master's degrees in Sport Management, Business Administration, and Marketing, in addition to dual bachelor's degrees in international business and marketing. She is bilingual in Spanish and English.
