Marissa Eddings leads brand, advertising, media, in-store marketing, and the in-house creative agency at 7-Eleven, Inc., which includes 7-Eleven’s family of brands: 7-Eleven, Speedway, Stripes, Laredo Taco Company, and Raise the Roost Chicken & Biscuits.
In her role with the world’s largest convenience retailer, she heads the team behind iconic brand moments like Slurpee Day, Bring Your Own Cup Day and more – and has executed groundbreaking brand activations like sending a Slurpee into space, launching the brand’s first online merchandise store 7Collection, and even building a custom car created by the brand’s most loyal fans, aptly named Model 711.
Most recently, Marissa and her team were the brains behind the rebrand of the retailer’s iconic Slurpee drink, the brand’s first-ever music video and ode to Slurpee featuring hip hop star Flo Milli, and the ‘Always Open’ viral collab with football sensation Ja’Marr Chase.
Recent accolades for Marissa include being named one of the Top Women in Convenience by Convenience Store News (2024), recognized as an AdWeek Marketing Vanguard ‘Next Leader’ (2024), and earning 3 Silver and 1 Bronze at the Cannes Lions (2024). She was also honored as a Marketing Maverick by AMA DFW (2023), a Gold Winner at the Effie Awards (2022), and most recently, a Marketer to Watch by Marketers That Matter (2025).
Prior to 7-Eleven, Marissa held roles in brand and marketing at Capital One and American Express. She received her M.B.A. from London Business School and her B.S. in Advertising from University of Texas in Austin. Outside of work, Marissa serves on the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Dallas and American Red Cross DFW Metro East boards.
