Tim Gray is a partner in Katten’s Appeals and Critical Motions practice. He works closely with Katten’s other practice groups, including its Intellectual Property Litigation practice. A former district and appellate clerk, he is an experienced trial and appellate court litigator, and he’s served as principal author on dozens of briefs and motions at all stages of litigation. In federal appeals courts across the country, Tim has represented a variety of clients on diverse issues of law, including false advertising and complex regulatory matters, and Tim is also an experienced trial advocate, with particular focus on false advertising; he has helped try several Lanham Act false-advertising cases, briefed and argued critical issues of law, and won important victories in mid- and post-trial motion practice.
