Michelle Green is a strategic marketing leader on Paramount’s Audience Impact & Intelligence team, where she navigates the ever-evolving landscape of culture and consumer behavior. Drawing on her expertise as a cultural anthropologist, she crafts innovative strategies that help Paramount Advertising’s brand partners authentically engage with cultural conversations.
As a multi-hyphenate strategist she approaches her work through the scope of inclusion and empowerment to shift culture—ensuring her work is as impactful behind the scenes as it is on-screen.
Michelle leads thought leadership studies that push thinking both internally and externally—infusing insight and intention into branded content and creative strategy. With a knack for TikTok and a hankering for understanding the virality of trends, she developed the proprietary trend-forecasting method at Paramount. She also led “Industry in Progress”, a groundbreaking study exploring the state of representation in advertising and offering actionable solutions for building a more inclusive media ecosystem.
While most people have one superpower, Michelle has (at least) three: helping brands cut through the noise, gain traction, and scale in competitive markets.
Named a Cynopsis Media Rising Star, Michelle has presented at leading industry conferences and events including Adweek and VidCon, earning a reputation as a forward-thinking marketer who connects brands with the heartbeat of culture to reach the next generation of consumers. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Michelle is a first-generation college graduate with a BS in Mass Communications and a minor in African American Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. She serves on the board of NAMIC NY and chair of Paramount’s Black employee resource group BEAT+.
