Gord McLean is president and CEO, as well as a board member and past chair, of the ANA Educational Foundation, where he led the merger with the ANA and is committed to advancing the AEF's mission to be the bridge connecting the marketing, advertising, and academic communities.
Previously, Mr. McLean was the global managing partner at the Young & Rubicam Group, working with clients around the world to build their businesses across geographies and disciplines and driving the group's cross-company business development initiatives. For Y&R, he also served as CEO of North America for Y&R Advertising, managing partner of Y&R Toronto, president and chief operating officer for Asia-Pacific, and president of global client services. In addition, Mr. McLean worked for MacLaren-McCann and Doyle Dane Bernbach. He began his career in the Canadian House of Commons as chief of staff to a member of Parliament.
