Bernardo Osuna Jr. is one of the most prominent bilingual sports authorities in sports. His career spans over three decades with extensive experience in television. Osuna has broadcast over a thousand professional fights in both Spanish and English. For the last 14 years, he has been a mainstay on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN International. He currently handles ringside reporting, blow by blow, translating and hosting duties on Top Rank Boxing on ESPN. He’s also hosted A Los Golpes alongside Mexican boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez. Bernardo has been blessed to work and learn from some of the most respected names in the sport, many of them Hall of Famers. Osuna can also be seen reporting from major events for SportsCenter in English and Spanish. He has traveled extensively throughout the United States and internationally across 6 continents to broadcast and cover soccer, boxing, Olympics, World Series, Super Bowls, NBA Finals and FIFA World Cups.
A graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a double major in Communication Studies and Spanish Literature, Osuna has 6 Emmys and earned the 2003 Sam Taub Award presented by the BWAA for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism and was inducted into the National Boxing Hall of Fame in 2024.
