Maria Daatio Perez has been helping businesses grow in emerging industries for more than 10 years. She is currently at Mattel, overseeing regulatory and compliance support for Mattel’s various e-commerce platforms, marketing, advertising, packaging, websites, digital games and apps, and entertainment properties across Mattel’s brand portfolio, which includes Barbie, Hot Wheels, Uno, Fisher-Price, American Girl, and Masters of the Universe. Maria also serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Digital Marketing Program at the University of San Francisco. Prior to Mattel, Ms. Daatio Perez helped launch Oculus Go, Facebook’s first wireless VR headset, and advise on go-to-market strategies. Prior to Facebook, Maria was at Maker Studios and then, Disney, helping shape how multichannel networks can work within the entertainment industry and establishing influencer deal structures. She has also worked closely with influencers and advertisers, executing brand integration delas from the ground up, developing templates and processes, negotiating contracts, creating policies, reviewing creatives, and approving assets before going live with campaigns.
