Speaker Profile

Alex Propes serves as Government Affairs and Public Policy Manager for Google. In this role, he represents Google on an array of policy issues including advertising, privacy, and youth safety.

 

Before joining Google, Alex worked at the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), where he was Vice President of Public Policy and International Affairs, overseeing the association’s engagements with government officials and political stakeholders. Earlier in his career, he worked for the European-American Business Council, where he worked with U.S. and EU governments on strengthening the global digital economy.

 

Alex resides in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and daughter.
