Eva is a seasoned legal executive with many years of experience advising innovative and fast-paced organizations. As VP of Legal Affairs for Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), Eva serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance across a broad range of complex legal and regulatory issues.
In her current role, Eva oversees key areas including marketing compliance, litigation and regulatory inquiries, intellectual property, employment issues and data privacy—all in the betting and gaming and the loyalty space. Known for her practical, business-focused approach, she plays a pivotal role in aligning legal strategies with company goals, managing risk, and enabling growth.
Before joining FBG, Eva served as a partner and head of the privacy practice for a large US-based law firm. She concentrated her practice on brand protection: protecting data, brand image, and brand names. Her clients crossed numerous industries with household names, tech giants and startups, non-profits, and other innovative organizations calling on Eva to guide them through product development, brand management, leveraging data in a responsible manner. There, she built a reputation for integrity, collaboration, and sharp legal insight.
Eva holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and is admitted to practice in Virginia, California, and the District of Columbia. She is also CIPP/US certified. As a frequent speaker on topics that include marketing and advertising, AI, security, and the evolving privacy landscape, she brings a deep understanding of the legal challenges and opportunities facing today’s businesses.
