Kreig Robinson started his career as the athletic director of the Mathews-Dickey Boys' and Girls' Club in St. Louis. He worked closely with Olympian Jackie Joyner-Kersee to establish a club in her own name in East St. Louis, managing hundreds of youth sports teams, after-school programs, volunteer teams, and summer camps for at-risk youth.
The biggest task Robinson took on while at the Club was facilitating the move of the NFL's Los Angeles Rams to St. Louis. He was chiefly responsible for the logistics and conversion of the club into a temporary practice facility for the Rams and the acquisition of auxiliary facilities to house the Club's youth sports activities, that served over 50,000 kids annually, without interruption. This led to Robinson becoming a liaison to both the NHL's St. Louis Blues and MLB's St. Louis Cardinals. Here, he would pilot programs to engage urban youth in hockey and drive participation in Major League Baseball's "Reviving Baseball in the Inner City" initiative. Several professional players from all the teams began to turn to Robinson to produce charity youth sports camps on their behalf.
In 2004, Red Bull Energy Drink convinced Robinson to move to Chicago. He accepted the position as Event Specialist and Field Marketing Manager, responsible for producing action sports and cultural events on behalf of the brand. Events large and small including the Indy 500, Formula 1, MotoGP, Flugtag, extreme sports, e-sports, and Red Bull Music Labs became a regular part of Robinson's event production resume.
Robinson founded RobinSport in 2006 with Red Bull as his first client. The mission, to provide quality event production partners to the event marketing industry space. He created an experiential marketing and event production consulting agency that provides on-site event logistics and infrastructure management. Heavily focused on the burgeoning action sports and e-sports arena, RobinSport produced and provided strategic event support for clients such as Major League Gaming, Harley-Davidson, Nike, Suzuki, and Mercedes-Benz.
Michael Jordan Motorsports became a pivotal client for RobinSport. While advising the NBA Hall of Famer, Robinson secured the largest sponsorship to date in motorcycle racing history by landing the Army National Guard. The Guard and its recruiting platform proved to be one of the most successful partnerships in racing.
Rapid growth moved the company to a new facility and the client list included brands like Ferrari, Fox Entertainment, PNC Bank, Montejo Beer, Mike's Hard Lemonade, Victoria's Secret, Boston Beer, 7-Eleven, and Netflix. Additionally, as a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB program, Robinson mentors youth and aspiring entrepreneurs as they navigate starting new business ventures.
In late 2020, Robinson returned to motorsports, currently serving as the Director of Engagement & Impact for 23XI Racing.
