Genessee Semler is the Executive Vice President at Asian Media Group, a digital-first, multicultural media partner that helps brands connect with Asian American audiences through a cross-platform approach primarily working with Fortune 500 brands’ agency teams.
She is passionate about championing Asian American representation, visibility, and community growth. She has been a guest lecturer at USC’s Marshall School of Business, and on many panels at top holding ad agency holding companies pushing forward the idea of opportunity through alignment with culture and making diverse audiences feel seen and heard.
Genessee graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in English Literature, earning the Kraft Scholarship in her first semester, and becoming a member of the nation’s first Asian American sorority SOPi. She lives and works in California and is a proud mother of two little girls.
