Lauren Shukla began her career in advertising, managing multimillion-dollar budgets for major global brands at agencies including Ogilvy, Havas, and FCB Global. Over the years, she led cross-functional teams, navigated complex client relationships, and drove Cannes-worthy creative campaigns.
After more than a decade in advertising, Lauren transitioned into procurement, leveraging her expertise to drive category strategy, supplier management, and operational efficiencies. She now leads the global marketing procurement team at Astellas Pharmaceuticals, overseeing $800M in Commercial category spend.
With a Master’s in Change Management and Organizational Design, Lauren is passionate about the evolving role of procurement in shaping corporate strategy and finding innovative strategies to build high preforming teams.
