As Head of Marketing Technology (MarTech), Matt Silver is responsible for leading the marketing technology stack for USCB. Matt’s team is responsible for developing a strategic roadmap for new and existing marketing capabilities to deliver personalized marketing campaigns at a faster speed to market, while enhancing the control environment through marketing automation and delivering higher customer engagement and value for the bank. Matt’s team is also responsible for Marketing Execution within the MarTech tools.
Matt joined Barclays in 2021 from JP Morgan Chase, where he led their marketing technology transformation and customer engagement efforts to drive personalization and customer-first marketing. His last three years at Chase were focused on leading an agile innovation team focused on using data and AI to get the right message to the right customer at the right time while providing the most value to the bank. Over the course of his 9+ year career at Chase, he launched three decision engines for both the larger Chase ecosystem and their Ultimate Rewards product, so he is intimately familiar with the various components of the MarTech stack, and what it takes to get them to work cohesively.
