Tameka Vasquez is a futurist, business strategist, keynote speaker, and professor.
She is Founder and Partner at The Future Quo, an advisory group that supports leadership teams through critical inflection points to shape new visions for the future. While they serve a range of organizations, Tameka and her collaborators specialize in working with traditional, risk-averse, highly regulated environments where change doesn’t happen overnight.
For over 15 years, Tameka has been at the forefront of future-shaping work. As a marketing strategist, she led brand and growth strategies for global technology startups and enterprises that were early innovators in a variety of industries. As an educator, she prepared the next generation of business leaders with interdisciplinary skills needed to thrive within uncertainty.
As a keynote speaker and facilitator, Tameka has transformed the way leaders and teams think about the future and its possibilities. When her family immigrated to New York City, Tameka was a deeply introverted kid with a seldom-heard Guyanese accent who found solace in maps, books and jigsaw puzzles. Needless to say, she had an innate desire to see the world, write stories, and construct the ‘big picture' herself. That’s starting to make sense now.
