Erica L. Wilkerson is the Senior Director of Multicultural & Youth Marketing at NASCAR. Her team is responsible for curating passionate content for broadcast partners and NASCAR social & digital platforms. She also manages NASCAR Kids, the sport’s first national youth platform. With over 15 years of experience in sports and entertainment, she oversees the company’s initiatives to engage and attract African American and Hispanic fans & consumers. Including the company’s relationship with NFL star, Alvin Kamara; she executes several experiential activations and hosts a myriad of influencers & celebrities at race events. Erica also manages the media relationship with diverse platforms such as Blavity and Mitu which provide NASCAR with the opportunity to authentically engage with their captivating audiences. Outside of NASCAR, the 2024 Charlotte Business Journal 40 under 40 honoree, is active in her community and currently serves as the Service and Programs Chair for the National Urban League Young Professionals. She is also a member of WISE (Women in Sports & Events) and a proud member of the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC with her daughter, Giavanna.
