Write For Work: 3 Steps to Faster, Clearer and Better Communications (Micro)
(Micro 60-Minute Workshop)
Micro Workshop Description
Welcome to the first five-generation workplace. A workplace where no two generations write in the same style. Where 30% of your team members learned English as their second language. Where even the platform of choice – phone/email/texting/Zoom/Slack – is different for everyone. Where senior management demands “proper” English…whatever that is. How do you make sure your writing is clear for everyone?
Your writing should target the “sweet spot”: Simple, clear, and direct writing that avoids fancy words or cute abbreviations.
In this fast-paced, one-hour workshop, we’ll give you simple yet effective tools to sharpen your writing and let your authentic voice shine through. If you’re using a chatbot or Learning Language Model (LLM) assistant to co-write or edit your writing, we’ll give you some prompt tips as well.
This Micro-Workshop is a boot camp to deliver maximum benefit in a minimum amount of time. How much value can you get? As much as you’re willing to put in. If you choose to participate, there is a small amount (no more than ten minutes) of preparation you need to do beforehand. You’ll see the results in all of your writing. Immediately.
Target Audience
Everyone in your marketing group — from the actual writers to your marketers, strategists, and senior management — needs to understand and will benefit from learning how to write to each of your stakeholders in the best possible way.
