Sustainability Committee Meeting June 2025

Today’s meeting of the Sustainability Collective will focus on the very objectives of this community and the role it plays within the industry. The format is plenary discussion to be led by ANA executives:

  • Christine Guilfoyle, Head of ANA’s Inclusive and Sustainable Marketing Practice and President of SeeHer
  • Nick Primola, Group Executive Vice President at ANA and Head of Global CMO Growth Council

 

Meeting Objectives:

- Reset the mission and role of the Sustainability Collective (i.e., is it a committee? A Council? A Community?)

- Agree on our desired outcomes for remainder of 2025

- Identify priority topics for 2026

 

Background (for discussion):

Key objectives of the ANA Sustainability Collective:

1) Gain professional enrichment from the combination of a facilitated peer-to-peer exchange together with showcasing best practices from the world’s premier subject experts

 

2) Identify and address issues that are common to the community, while pursuing opportunities that will benefit all marketers

 

3) Establish and nurture this community of professionals that will drive its objectives for the benefit of the industry.

 

Role of committee members:

1) Participate in virtual mtgs (2 of 4) + in-person forums during Climate Week and/or ANA Masters of Marketing conference

2) Personally contribute directly in meeting(s), in research efforts and a case to be shared wider in the community

3) endorse and amplify the community’s actions and outcomes to attain maximum impact for the industry
