Production Management Committee

The Production Management Committee is for client-side marketers working day-to-day in production management roles, including in-house content teams, as well as marketing solution providers that consult on or participate in the commercial production process from brief through post. The committee's primary focus is on video and broadcast production, however other media are covered as well. This committee provides a forum for education, networking, and discussion that helps elevate individuals in their respective organizations, as well as optimize their investments in marketing and advertising production.

• US Commercial Production Tax Incentives (August 2025)
  Tax incentive programs started to appear about 30 years ago in the feature film and television industries to keep U.S. productions from going offshore for lower costs. Many programs have expanded to include commercial productions. The savings can be quite significant, often ranging from 10 to 40 percent of qualified production spending in that state. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of these incentives, outline the process for participating, and make advertisers aware of these incentives.
• Certified Diverse Suppliers Resource List (Updated September 2023)
  Finding diverse suppliers is a key challenge in supplier diversity. As a follow-up to the 2020 report, “The Power of Supplier Diversity,” ANA/AIMM began curating a list of diverse suppliers that work in our industry. The initial “Certified Diverse Suppliers Resource List” was issued in July 2020 and has been updated on a regular basis. The last 2021 update, published in December, listed 377 companies. The list more than doubled in 2021, increasing from 186 companies a year earlier.

  Given the rapidly changing digital, social, and programmatic media landscape, the ANA fielded this survey to delve into the topic of media agency compensation practices and the related issues of performance incentives and programmatic compensation/transparency, as well as rebates, discounts, and principal-based buying. ANA is well known for our triennial reports on agency compensation, which cover all types of agencies.
